Bread & Pizza Blend //
Let's face it. When most people think of baking homemade gluten-free bread, they usually roll their yes up and say forget it. Why? Because it can be challenging IF you don't have the right flour blend. Well, look no further. I'm happy to report that bread was THE most challenging aspect of gluten-free baking for me to learn, but after working with an incredible mentor, I have learned some really simple tricks to make exceptional everyday loaves as well as authentic sourdough. Like any good baked treat, however, it begins with the flour. This is not a light and airy flour; nutrition was an absolute must for me when I was creating the blend, so rather than offer up a flour that was mostly starches, this blend is mostly sorghum and millet with starches added in for texture, flavor and volume. In bread-speak, this means the flour mimics more of a whole wheat flour rather. Fill your home with real smelling and tasting bread that happens to be gluten-free! Salted butter or salted ghee is a must upon serving!
