The Cookie Jar Blend was engineered (literally people, this blend took an epic amount of intellectual and scientific thought to get just right) for our nation's obsession with cookies. My task was simple: make a blend that would satisfy every kind of cookie imaginable: drop, rolled, cut, hand formed, molded or bars. About 3,000 recipe trials later, the Cookie Jar Blend was born. Resting the dough in the fridge is crucial for scientific reasons, so a little of the spontaneity of whipping up a batch of cookies is the only negative thing anyone has ever said about this blend. But don't worry, I came up with a solution for that as well: I love to roll my Ultimate Chocolate Chip cookie dough into a log and freeze it so when the moment does strike for that instant cookie monster gratification, it's all taken care of.
